Troubleshooting: Discounts not stacking
Why discounts won't combine — and how to fix it.

If two discounts that should combine aren't applying together, the cause is almost always Shopify's combination rules.
The fix
- Open Shopify admin → Discounts.
- Click into the discount that's not stacking.
- Open the Combinations section.
- Enable the right combination types:
- Combine with product discounts
- Combine with order discounts
- Combine with shipping discounts
- Save.
Why this isn't an Oxify bug
Combination rules are Shopify-level. Oxify creates discounts and runs them through the unified function, but Shopify decides whether they're allowed to combine with other discounts. The fix is in Shopify admin, not Oxify.
Check this before launching any sale. Combination misconfigurations cause the most "stacking issues" support tickets.
