Offers — discount
Configure the discount applied to the offer product when accepted.
The discount is applied to the offer's product when the customer accepts the offer.
Where to find it
- In the Oxify app, open Post Purchase and open a funnel.
- On the Upsells tab, click Edit offer on the offer.
- In the editor's Offer-level widgets list, open Upsell product, then Discount.
The page that opens right after you create an offer has the same settings in its Discount card.
Discount type
- In the editor, Automatic Discount is a number with a type selector. % Off gives a percentage discount ("Save 20% on this add"). The other option shows your store's currency code, for example USD Off, and is good for round numbers like "$10 off". To offer no discount, enter 0.
- On the offer page, Discount type is No discount, Percentage off or Fixed amount off. With No discount, the product is shown at its regular price.
New offers start with a 15% discount.
Value
The discount amount. For a percentage, enter a number from 0 to 100. A value of 0 means no discount.
For a fixed amount, enter the amount in your store currency. It is taken off once, not multiplied by the quantity the customer chooses. Oxify doesn't convert the amount between currencies, so if you sell in several currencies a percentage is the safer choice.
Discount title
The label shown under the price in the offer screen. Examples: "20% off — exclusive post-purchase deal", "Save $10 today only", "Members-only price".
Compare-at price
Use 'compare at' price (Show compare at price on the offer page) shows the original price struck through next to the discounted price. It only appears when the offer has a discount.
The price line itself comes from Product details → Product price. By default that field already shows the original price struck through, the current price and the saving, so the toggle only changes the price line if you clear that field.
Security note
The discount is built and signed server-side when the buyer accepts. It cannot be tampered with client-side, so buyers can't manipulate the discount via the browser.
