Reading conversion, revenue, and AOV uplift

How to interpret the headline metrics on every Oxify dashboard.

Conversion rate

= orders รท impressions for the offer type โ€” how often showing an offer ends in an order.

Example: an offer is shown 100 times and 12 orders include it โ†’ 12% conversion.

That is how the Product Page, Post-Purchase and Thank You Page tabs calculate Conversion rate. Impressions count each time an offer is displayed, not unique visitors.

The Cart Analytics tab works differently: its Conversion rate is orders placed รท cart opens, and Orders placed counts every order your store received (POS orders excluded), not only orders with Oxify items. The Oxify-specific figure there is Attach rate โ€” orders influenced รท orders placed, the share of orders that include at least one Oxify item.

AOV uplift

The dashboards don't calculate an AOV uplift figure. Two related numbers are available:

  • Average order value (Product Page tab) โ€” the average gross revenue from product page offers per order that included one. It is not the value of the whole order.
  • Influenced order value (Cart Analytics tab) โ€” the combined subtotal of orders that included an Oxify item.

To estimate uplift yourself, compare your store's AOV in a period with the feature against a comparable period without it. Don't compare last month (no FBT) to this month (FBT enabled) without controlling for seasonality. The Compare to previous period checkbox shows the change against the period right before the one you picked.

Revenue attributed

The line item value of items added by the feature, not the total order value. The Cart Analytics and Product Page tabs show it gross โ€” price times quantity, before discounts โ€” with an After discounts card next to it.

Example: Customer's order subtotal is $80. The cart upsell added a $15 item. Revenue attributed to the upsell = $15, not $80. (The $80 is the Influenced order value on the Cart Analytics tab.)

Revenue is recorded when the order is created. Gross figures are tracked from 26 August 2026: on the Cart Analytics tab, earlier days are left out of the gross totals (the tab says so when your range starts earlier), and product page figures for earlier days were recorded after discounts.

Why this distinction matters

Don't confuse "revenue attributed" with "orders saved" or "AOV grown". Each metric answers a different question.

Look at revenue per impression. It's the simplest single number for "is this feature paying for itself." You'll find it as Revenue per impression on the Product Page tab, Revenue per view on the Post-Purchase and Thank You Page tabs, and Revenue per cart open on Cart Analytics.
