FAQ: Can I disable the app on one theme but keep it on another?

Yes.

App embeds are per-theme. Toggle Oxify on or off independently in each theme.

Use cases

• A/B testing themes — Oxify enabled in one, disabled in the other.
• Holiday-only theme — Run Oxify on your seasonal theme but not your default.
• Dev / staging theme — Disable to avoid running test data through real funnels.

How to toggle

Open the theme in Shopify customizer → App embeds → toggle Oxify: Cart Upsell & Gift (the cart drawer) and, if you use product-page offers, Oxify: Product Upsell on or off. Save. The change applies only to that theme. Turning off Oxify: Cart Upsell & Gift also turns off the Sticky Add to Cart Bar and Floating Cart Button on that theme, because they ship with the cart embed.

What's shared across themes

Your Oxify settings (cart drawer design, rewards, upsells, FBT offers) are saved for your whole shop, so every theme that has Oxify on uses the same settings — you can't set Oxify up differently per theme. Oxify's own screens (the Active badge on Home, the inactive banner in the Cart Editor) only check your published theme.

What's preserved

Disabling on a theme doesn't delete your settings, funnels, or analytics. Re-enabling brings everything back exactly as it was.
