Variant picker behavior

Post-purchase offers

These settings apply to the product shown in a post-purchase offer, the one-click offer a customer sees right after checkout.

Where to find them

1. In the Oxify app, open Post Purchase and open a funnel.
2. On the Upsells tab, click Edit offer on the offer.
3. In the editor's Offer-level widgets list, open Upsell product, then Variants.

What customers see

• One dropdown per product option, such as Color or Size, with two dropdowns per row.
• A product with only one variant never shows a picker.
• The Quantity field is shown together with the picker, so it moves when you move the picker.
• The first value of each option is preselected, so buyers can accept the offer with one click. They can still change it before accepting.

Position

Variant selector position:

• Above pricing data (default) — Shoppers pick a variant before seeing the price.
• Above CTA buttons — The selector sits directly above the accept and decline buttons.
• Below CTA buttons — The selector appears below the buttons.

Variant selector top padding and Variant selector bottom padding adjust the spacing around it.

Hide single-choice variants

Show variant options that have only one available choice is on by default. Turn it off to skip an option that has only one value, for example a Material option with a single material, on a product that still has other options. A product with only one variant never shows a picker, whatever this setting is.

Out-of-stock variants

• Show all out of stock variants is off by default, so out-of-stock variants are left out of the dropdowns. Turn it on to include them.
• Hide product when out of stock skips the whole offer when every variant is out of stock. See Smart filtering — auto-skip rules.

Hide the picker completely

Click Show advanced variant settings and tick Hide variant selector if you don't want customers to switch or view variants. The offer then uses a single default variant.

Cart upsells

In the cart drawer, when an upsell product has more than one variant, its button shows your Choose Options Button Text instead of the add-to-cart text. By default that is Choose in Upsells and Choose Options in Upsells with Discount. Clicking the button opens a bottom sheet with one dropdown per option and the first available variant preselected. If the chosen variant is unavailable, the sheet shows "This product is out of stock" and the add button is disabled.
