Page builder compatibility

How the cart drawer picks up add-to-cart buttons on page-builder pages, and what to do when a button doesn't open it.

Oxify works with add-to-cart buttons it recognizes, including buttons on page-builder pages.

How it works

The cart drawer attaches to add-to-cart buttons using a built-in list of selectors for common themes and page builders. Most buttons inside a standard Shopify cart-add form (a form that posts to /cart/add) match it. Clicking a recognized button adds the item through the cart drawer, and the drawer opens on add by default.

Page builders

  • GemPages — Oxify has dedicated handling for GemPages add-to-cart buttons.
  • Replo, PageFly and Shogun — Oxify has no builder-specific rules for the cart drawer. It works when the page's add-to-cart button matches one of the built-in selectors; if it doesn't, add your own selector (below). The same goes for any other builder.

Custom add-to-cart buttons

If your page builder uses a non-standard ATC button (custom JS handler, no form submit), you may need to configure custom theme selectors so the drawer recognizes it. In the Cart Editor, open Settings, click Show Advance Settings, and add your selector under Add to Cart Button Custom Query Selector. See Custom theme selectors.

Testing

After publishing a page-builder page, click the page's ATC button. The cart drawer should slide in. If it doesn't, check the selector configuration first.
