Use the Validate Discount tool to simulate a cart and confirm your reward setup before launch.
The Validate Discount tool simulates a cart against your reward configuration and reports exactly what would happen at checkout.
What it tells you
- Which tiers qualify based on the simulated cart
- Which products are flagged as gifts
- Total savings (per discount and overall)
- Any conflicts with other discounts (combination rules, function limits)
When to use it
- Before a big sale — Confirm new tiers behave correctly under realistic carts.
- After migrating to the unified function — Verify nothing broke.
- When a customer reports an issue — Reproduce their cart and see what the function says.
How to access
Open Cart Editor → Rewards → Validate, or Settings → Discounts → Validate.
