Trigger

• Always show — Render the upsell on every cart.
• When specific products are in cart — Surface a relevant upsell only when the trigger matches (e.g. show socks upsell only when shoes are in cart).

Discount

% or $ off the upsell product. Uses the unified discount function, so the discount applies natively at checkout.

Layout

• Compact list — Multiple products in a vertical scroll.
• Image grid — 2–3 products with hero images.
• Single hero card — One product, large card, highest conversion when carefully chosen.
