Preview, publish, and testing checklist

Before any funnel goes live:

Preview

• Post Purchase — on a funnel's Upsells tab, click Edit offer on an offer card (or Preview Offer at the top of the offer's page) to open the editor with a live preview. Switch between desktop and mobile with the icons above the widget list. The preview uses sample data: for Most expensive item in cart, Least expensive item in cart and Automatic upsell offers it shows a placeholder product, because the real product is chosen from each order at checkout.
• Thank You & Order Status — in Step 2 (Upsells), the Preview on the right updates as you change products, design and discounts (an Automatic upsells entry shows a placeholder product). A widget shows a preview once you enable it and add content.

Publish

There is no separate publish button. A funnel goes live when:

1. You Save it. (Done in the post-purchase editor only closes the editor — it doesn't save.)
2. Its status is Active.
3. Shopify can show it:
   • Post Purchase — Oxify Post Purchase is selected under Post-purchase page in your Shopify checkout settings.
   • Thank You & Order Status — the Oxify blocks are placed on your Thank you page and Order status page in Shopify's checkout editor (use Open Shopify editor), and any widget you want is enabled.

Test with a real order

Place a test order on your store.

• Post Purchase — pay with a method that supports post-purchase offers (orders paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay, for example, don't get one). After payment you should see the offer — a short "Preparing your offer..." screen comes first. Accept it, then check the order in Shopify admin: it should include the upsell line and the Oxify Upsell tag. Decline an offer, or let its countdown run out, to test the next one (a downsell).
• Thank You & Order Status — on the Thank you page the product recommendation can take a few seconds to appear. Click the button: the pop-up reads Updating your order..., then Ready to finalize your order! with Proceed to payment (or Added to your order! for a free item). Pay, then check the order shows the item. If you don't pay, the item is removed from the order about 30 minutes later.

What to verify

• The funnel is Active and has an offer (Post Purchase) or upsell products (Thank You & Order Status).
• Your triggers match the test order. Use Show to all customers while testing.
• The price, discount and shipping on the offer match what you set.
• The decline path works.
• It looks right on mobile — check on a real device, not just a resized browser.
