Discounted upsells configuration

This page covers how the discount from Upsells with Discount is shown to the customer and which text you can change. There is no separate "discounted upsell" mode. Every upsell you set up in Cart upsells with discount uses the same display, and the discount is applied at checkout by Oxify's unified discount function. No discount code is needed.

What the customer sees

• The discounted price, with the original price struck through next to it.
• A save badge. The default text is Save {{amount}}.
• The button text. If the product has several variants, the button reads Choose Options and opens a bottom sheet where the customer picks a variant. The sheet shows the same discounted and original prices.

Text you can change

In Cart Editor Settings → Upsells with Discount, open Discount Upsell Text Settings:

• Upsell Title — the heading above the upsells.
• Add to Cart Button Text — the default is ADD.
• Choose Options Button Text — shown when the product has multiple variants. The default is Choose Options.
• Add to Cart Button Text (Bottom Sheet) — shown in the variant bottom sheet. The default is Add to Cart.
• Save Text — the badge. Use {{amount}} for the amount saved or {{percentage}} for the percentage.

Click Advanced settings in the same card to set the Checkout discount label. This is the name shown next to the discount line on Shopify checkout. The default is Upsell Discount, and you can use {saved_percentage} and {saved_amount} in it.

Each text field can be translated per language with Add translations.

Showing only the discounted price

The built-in upsell cards always show the original price next to the discounted price. Show Compare at Price (under Display Settings) does not remove it, so the built-in cards can't show a discounted price on its own.
