Placement on Order Status vs Thank-You

Shopify exposes two separate post-checkout pages where Oxify can show content:

Thank-you page

One-time confirmation page shown right after checkout. Most buyers see it once and never return. Oxify waits for Shopify to finish creating the order before it picks an offer, so the offer can appear a few seconds after the page loads.

Order Status page

The page in the customer's account where buyers can come back to look at an order. Because buyers can return to it, your content can be seen again on later visits. Oxify's blocks target the order status page in customer accounts.

Configuring placement

Placement has two parts:

1. Add the blocks in Shopify. The Oxify blocks — Oxify Product Recommendation, Oxify Banner, Oxify FAQ, Oxify Image, Oxify Rich Text and Oxify Trust Badges — are placed in Shopify's checkout editor, on the Thank you page and on the Order status page separately. The Open Shopify editor button in the Oxify funnel editor opens it for you.
2. Choose which page Oxify fills. The product recommendation and each widget (Rich text, Banner, Image, FAQ, Trust badges) has a Display on setting: Both pages, Thank-you only or Order status only.

A widget only shows when all of these are true:

• its block is placed on that page in Shopify's editor;
• the widget is enabled;
• its Display on includes that page;
• an active funnel matches the order, and that funnel's own Display on includes that page too.

There is one setting per widget for your whole store, so the same text shows wherever the widget appears — you can't write different copy for the two pages.

Some ideas:

• Banner — Both pages with the same copy.
• FAQ — Both pages — useful before and after the order.
• Product recommendation — Both pages (the default), or only the page where it fits your store best.
