A countdown banner that creates urgency on the post-purchase offer.

The Timer widget renders a countdown banner above (or below) your product info, creating urgency on the post-purchase offer.
Configuration
Minutes
Length of the countdown. Default is 5 minutes. Common values: 3, 5, 10. Shorter is more urgent but harder to convert; longer is more relaxed but loses urgency.
Background color
Maps to Shopify's banner statuses:
- Yellow → warning (default — best for urgency without alarm)
- Red → critical (strongest urgency, can feel aggressive)
- Green → success
- Blue → info
Heading and body
Rich text fields. Use the {timer} token to display the live countdown anywhere in the text. Example: "Offer expires in: {timer}".
Padding
Top and bottom padding sliders.
Hide banner after expiry
Optional. When enabled, the banner disappears once the timer hits zero. The offer remains accept-able; just the urgency banner is removed.
