Place a widget
Show a Product List Widget in your theme with the Oxify: Product List block, or inside the cart drawer.
A widget only shows once you place it. Both places need the Oxify: Cart Upsell & Gift app embed on. See Enable the app embed.
In your theme
In Product List Widgets, click the clipboard icon in the widget's row, or Copy Widget ID in the editor. The toast says "Widget ID copied to clipboard".
In your Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes → Customize. Open the page you want.
Click Add section or Add block, open the Apps tab and choose Oxify: Product List.
Paste the ID into Widget ID and click Save.
You can add the block more than once on a page, each with its own Widget ID. Related and Complementary only show on product pages. See Product sources.
In the theme editor, a red dashed note tells you when the block has no ID, or no active widget matches it. Reload the editor after changing the ID, because blocks are set up when the page loads. If the ID is right but the list is empty, nothing is shown and there is no note.
In the cart drawer
From Home, click Manage Cart Drawer to open the Cart Editor. See Cart Editor overview.
In the left list, under Product Lists, click + Add Product List.
In Add product list, pick a Select widget and a Position: Above cart items, After cart items (default) or Below cart items. Click Add.
Click Save in the Cart Editor.
If you have no widgets, the window offers a Create one link.
Each placement row has a Position badge, an eye button to hide or show it, and a trash button. Click the row to open the widget in a new tab. You can add one widget in several positions. Placements in the same position are ordered by when you added them.
- The widget must be Active. A row shows Inactive, or Not on storefront if the widget was deleted, with a warning that buyers won't see it.
- Cart drawer lists show only when the cart has items.
