Offers — advanced settings

A reference to the most useful advanced settings on a post-purchase offer.

This article is a draft and may be incomplete or change before publishing.

The Settings section of an offer has ~40 granular controls. The most useful ones:

Hide if product already in original order

Skip the offer if the upsell product is something they already bought. Prevents duplicate-product upsells.

Order tag

Tag the resulting order with a string for filtering in Shopify admin. Example tag: pp-upsell-2026-q4. Makes attribution and reporting cleaner.

Hide price in accept button

By default the accept button shows the total. Toggle this on for a cleaner button when the price is already visible above.

Skip if quantity selector unused

If the buyer doesn't engage with the quantity selector, auto-advance instead of waiting for a decision. Useful for high-volume funnels.

Require accept confirmation

Two-tap accept. First tap shows a confirmation; second tap commits. Reduces accidental accepts but adds friction. Test before enabling.

The rest

Open the Settings section of the offer for the full list — there are roughly 40 controls covering every aspect of the offer experience.
