Cart Upsell extension (storefront block)

Oxify's theme app extension (cart-upsell-extension) adds app embeds and blocks to the Shopify theme editor. Use the blocks to choose where product-page offers and product lists appear on your storefront.

What you will see in the theme editor

App embeds (switch them on under App embeds in the theme editor):

• Oxify: Cart Upsell & Gift — runs the cart drawer.
• Oxify: Product Upsell — loads your Product Page Upsell offers on product pages.

App blocks (add them to a page; they are listed in the Apps tab):

• Oxify: Bought Together — positions a Frequently bought together offer.
• Oxify: Cross-sell — positions a Cross-sell offer.
• Oxify: Product Add-ons — positions a Product add-on offer.
• Oxify: Product List — shows one Product List Widget.

Add a block

1. In your Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes → Customize to launch the theme editor.
2. Open the template you want to change, for example a product page.
3. Click Add section or Add block, open the Apps tab and choose the Oxify block.
4. Drag it to where you want it and click Save.

Where the content comes from

• Oxify: Bought Together, Oxify: Cross-sell and Oxify: Product Add-ons are containers for offers you create under Product Page Upsell. The offer itself is loaded by the Oxify: Product Upsell embed, so keep that embed on. Without a block, Oxify places the offer next to the product's add-to-cart button. See Placement rules.
• Oxify: Product List needs a Widget ID. Build the widget under Product List Widgets, copy the ID from the widget's row and paste it into the block's Widget ID setting. The block reads your widgets from the Oxify: Cart Upsell & Gift embed, so keep that embed on too. If the ID doesn't match an active widget, shoppers see nothing, and the theme editor shows a hint so you can spot the mistake.
