Volume discounts (buy more, save more)

Volume discounts reward customers for buying more units. Customer adds more → discount jumps. Pure conversion lift on consumables and apparel.

Setup

1. Open Cart Editor → Volume Discount → Add rule.
2. Pick the target: All products, specific products, or a collection.
3. Configure tiers:

• Buy 2+ → 5% off
• Buy 3+ → 10% off
• Buy 5+ → 15% off Each higher tier must be a better deal than the one below it.

4. Pick a display style: Tier list, "next tier" hint, or compact.

Display styles

• Tier list — Shows all tiers; customers see the full ladder.
• Next tier hint — Just nudges to the next unlock ("Add 1 more for 10% off").
• Compact — Single-line summary, smallest footprint.

When this works

Best on consumables (coffee, supplements, candles, socks). Less effective on items shoppers buy one of (laptops, mattresses).
