Subscription app integrations
How the in-cart "Subscribe and save" prompt works with the subscription app you use.
Oxify's Subscription Upgrades module surfaces a subscribe-and-save prompt on cart line items. It works from Shopify selling plans, so it follows whichever subscription app created them.
How detection works
Oxify doesn't check which subscription app is installed and has no list of supported apps. For each product in the cart it looks up the product's selling plan groups — the subscription options your subscription app attaches to the product. If the product has any, and the line isn't already on a plan, the prompt appears.
How it works
Turn the module on in the Cart Editor under Subscription Upgrades (it is off by default). If a product offers both one-time purchase and subscribe-and-save, the line item shows a button — by default "Upgrade to" plus the selling plan group's name — and one tap switches the line to that group's first plan. You can change the wording in Button Text. Once a line is on a plan, it shows a dropdown to switch plans or go back to One-time purchase; turn on Prevent downgrades to remove that one-time option.
Other apps
Because Oxify reads Shopify's selling plans rather than any one app's own data, you don't need to be on a particular subscription app. If the prompt doesn't appear for a product, check that the product actually has selling plans in your subscription app and that Subscription Upgrades is enabled. The Cart Editor preview always shows a sample button, so check a real subscription product on your storefront.
Subscription upsells convert best on consumables. Skip the prompt on one-off categories where it doesn't make sense.
