Timer not showing
Work through the checks that fix almost every missing countdown timer.
Work through these in order. The first two account for the large majority of cases.
1. Is the app embed active?
Open the dashboard and check the Theme store app embed card.
If it shows Off, click App embed settings.
Set the app embed from Disabled to Active and click Save.

2. Is the timer published?
Check the timer's Status in the dashboard list. It should read Published with a green Live badge, not Unpublished.
3. Has the countdown already ended?
Open the timer and go to the Content tab.
For Countdown to a date, check Ends At hasn't already passed.
For Daily recurring timer, check today is a ticked day under Repeats On, and that you're inside the daily window.
If the countdown has ended and Once Timer Ends is set to Hide Timer From User, the timer is correctly hidden. That's working as configured, not a bug.
4. Has it started yet?
If Timer Starts is set to Scheduled to start later, the timer stays hidden until Starts At arrives.
5. Does the placement include this page?
Go to the Placement tab.
Check the placement rule actually covers the page you're looking at.
Temporarily widen it — All products or Show on every page — to confirm the timer renders at all.
A Specific products timer will not appear on a product you forgot to tick.
6. Does the geolocation targeting match?
If Geolocation targeting is Specific countries and you're browsing from elsewhere, the timer is correctly hidden from you. Switch to Whole World to test.
7. Did you close it yourself?
If Show close button is on and you dismissed the bar, your browser remembers. Test in an incognito window.
8. Custom position without the app block
If placement is Custom position, the timer only renders where you added the app block or code snippet. Adding nothing means showing nothing.

9. Clear your cache
Hard-refresh the page, or test in incognito. Storefront pages are often cached for a few minutes after a change.
10. Did you switch themes?
The app embed is per theme. If you published a new theme, enable the app embed again on it, and re-add any custom-position app blocks.
