Borders and corners
Add a border with a style and side of your choosing, and round the corners.
Border settings sit in the Card section of the Design tab. This app gives you more border control than a typical bar — eight styles and five side combinations.
Add a border
Open the timer and go to the Design tab.
In the Card section, set Border size in pixels. 0 means no border.
Set Border color.
Choose a Border style.
Choose which Border sides to apply it to.
Click Save.
Border styles
| Style | Effect |
|---|---|
| Solid | A plain continuous line |
| Dashed | Evenly spaced dashes |
| Dotted | A dotted line |
| Double | Two parallel lines |
| Groove | Carved-in 3D effect |
| Ridge | Raised 3D effect |
| Animated | A moving border that draws the eye |
| Glow | A soft glow around the timer |
Animated and Glow are attention-grabbing — good for a genuine flash sale, tiring on an always-on bar.
Border sides
| Option | Where the border shows |
|---|---|
| All sides | Full outline |
| Top only | A rule above the timer |
| Bottom only | A rule below the timer |
| Top & Bottom | Horizontal rules above and below |
| Left & Right | Vertical rules on each side |
Top & Bottom is the usual choice for a full-width bar — it separates the bar from your header and page content without boxing it in.
Round the corners
Set Border radius in pixels:
| Radius | Look |
|---|---|
0 | Square — right for an edge-to-edge bar |
4–8 | Subtly rounded |
16+ | Distinctly card-like |
A border only shows if Border size is greater than 0. Setting a style or color alone changes nothing.
Tip
A full-width top bar usually looks best with radius 0 and Top & Bottom borders. Rounded corners suit a timer that sits inside a page — a product page or collection banner — where it reads as a card.
