Popup targeting
Choose which pages, countries, customers, and languages see your popup.
The Targeting tab decides who sees the popup. Every rule you enable narrows the audience further.
Show On Pages
| Option | Where the popup shows |
|---|---|
| All Pages | Everywhere |
| Homepage | Home page only |
| Product Pages | All product pages |
| Collection Pages | All collection pages |
| Cart Page | The cart page |
Open the Targeting tab.
Choose an option under Show On Pages.
Click Save.
Specific pages
Selecting the specific-pages option reveals a Specific Pages field where you list paths, comma separated:
Country targeting
Tick Enable Country Targeting.
Enter Allowed Countries as comma-separated country codes — for example US, CA, GB.
Click Save.
Customer targeting
Choose a Customer Type:
| Option | Who sees the popup |
|---|---|
| All Customers | Everyone |
| New Customers | First-time visitors |
| Returning Customers | Customers who've been before |
| Specific Customers | Only the customer IDs you list |
Choosing Specific Customers reveals a Customer IDs field — enter them comma separated, for example 123, 456, 789.
You can also enter Customer Tags such as vip, premium, newsletter.
New vs returning
This is one of the most useful splits. A first-time visitor and a repeat customer need different messages — a welcome offer versus a loyalty perk — and running two targeted popups beats one generic one.
Language targeting
Tick Enable Language Targeting.
Enter Allowed Languages as comma-separated codes — for example en, es, fr.
Click Save.
Product and collection targeting
Three more fields narrow the popup to particular catalog items:
- Product IDs — comma separated, for example
123, 456, 789 - Collection IDs — comma separated
- Product Tags — for example
sale, new, featured
Rules stack
Every enabled rule has to pass. A popup set to Product Pages, US only, New Customers, and the tag sale shows to a very narrow slice of your traffic. Add rules one at a time and check your storefront after each.
Tip
If a popup isn't appearing, turn the rules off one by one until it does. That tells you exactly which rule is excluding you, far faster than re-reading the settings.
