Once the timer ends
Choose what happens when the countdown reaches zero.
Once Timer Ends is on the Content tab. The options you're offered depend on your timer type and countdown type — the app only lists actions that can actually work for your combination.
Set it
Open the timer and go to the Content tab.
Find the Once Timer Ends dropdown.
Choose an action.
If you chose Show Custom Title, enter the Custom Title text.
Click Save.
The actions
| Action | What happens at zero |
|---|---|
| Hide Timer From User | The timer disappears from the page |
| Show Custom Title | The timer is replaced by your custom message |
| Repeat Countdown | The countdown starts over from the full duration |
| Do Nothing | The timer stays on screen showing zero |
| Delete All the items in the cart | The customer's cart is emptied |
Which actions are available
| Timer / countdown type | Options offered |
|---|---|
| Cart page + fixed minutes | Repeat Countdown · Hide Timer From User · Delete All the items in the cart |
| Cart page + other | Hide Timer From User · Delete All the items in the cart |
| Any other type + fixed minutes | Hide Timer From User · Show Custom Title · Repeat Countdown · Do Nothing |
| Any other type + date or recurring | Hide Timer From User · Show Custom Title · Do Nothing |
Two rules explain the whole table:
- Repeat Countdown needs fixed minutes. A date-based or recurring countdown derives its remaining time from configured dates, not from when the visitor arrived, so there is nothing to restart.
- Deleting the cart is cart-page only. It's the only place emptying a cart makes sense.
Your existing choice is never overwritten
If you already have a working action selected that this combination wouldn't normally list, the app keeps it and adds it to the dropdown rather than silently changing your setting. Only an action that provably cannot run is rewritten — and it becomes Do Nothing, never Hide or Delete.
Show Custom Title
The most useful option for a finished campaign. Instead of vanishing or freezing at zero, the timer says something purposeful:

Set Once Timer Ends to Show Custom Title.
Type your message into the Custom Title field that appears.
Click Save.
Delete All the items in the cart
This empties the customer's cart. It is only offered on cart page timers, and it should be used sparingly — a customer who loses a full cart usually doesn't rebuild it. Say clearly in your title that it will happen, and give a generous duration.
Tip
Test your end action before publishing. Set a fixed-minute timer to 1 minute, watch it reach zero on your storefront, then set the real duration.
