Create your first timer
Build a working countdown timer end to end in a few minutes.
Every timer is built across three tabs — Content, Design, and Placement. This walkthrough takes you through all three once.
Choose the timer type
On the dashboard, click Create timer.
The Choose a countdown timer type screen opens with four options: Product Page, Top/Bottom Bar, Landing Page, and Cart Page.
Click Select this timer type on the one you want.
The timer type decides which content fields, placement options, and end actions you get. It's the one choice you can't easily change later — see Choose a timer type before you pick.
Content tab
Enter a Timer name. This is only visible to you.
Click Choose Your Template at the top of the section and pick a design from the gallery. This is the fastest way to a finished look — see Templates.
Enter the Title, and a Subheading if the timer type offers one.
Set your Timer labels — the words shown under the digits, by default Days, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds.
Choose the Timer Type: Countdown to a date, Fixed minutes, or Daily recurring timer.
Fill in the schedule fields that appear for your choice.
Set Once Timer Ends to decide what happens when the countdown hits zero.
Add a Call to action if your timer type supports one.
Design tab
Set the Timer Style to Basic or Block.
Adjust the Card background, Typography, and Spacing to match your brand.
For a top/bottom bar, set Positioning — Top Page or Bottom Page, and Sticky bar if it should follow the scroll.
Watch the live preview as you go.
Placement tab
Choose which pages or products the timer appears on. The options depend on your timer type.
Set Geolocation targeting — Whole World, or Specific countries.
Save and publish
Click Save. You'll see Changes saved successfully.
Publish the timer. Its status changes to Published and it shows a green Live badge on the dashboard.
Open your storefront and confirm the timer appears and is counting down.
If the timer doesn't appear, the app embed is almost always the reason. Check Enable the app embed first.
