Top/bottom bar timer
Show a countdown bar across the top or bottom of any page.
A Top/Bottom Bar timer is a full-width bar. It's the most flexible type — the only one with a call to action, a close button, and sticky positioning all together.
Set it up
Click Create timer and select Top/Bottom Bar.
On the Content tab, enter a Timer name, Title, and Subheading.
Set your Timer labels.
Set the Call to action — No Call to action, Button, or Make entire bar clickable.
Tick Show close button if visitors should be able to dismiss it.
Choose the Timer Type and fill in its schedule.
On the Design tab, set Positioning to Top Page or Bottom Page, and Sticky bar if it should follow the scroll.
On the Placement tab, choose which pages it appears on.
Save and publish.
What makes this type different
It's the only timer type with all of:
- Call to action — a button, or the whole bar as a link
- Show close button — let visitors dismiss the bar
- Positioning — Top Page or Bottom Page, with an optional Sticky bar
Page targeting
The widest set of options of any type: every page, home page only, all product pages, specific products, all products in specific collections, all collection pages, specific collections, or a custom position.

Tip
Keep the title short. A bar has one line of horizontal space and the digits take up a good part of it, so long text wraps badly on mobile.
If the bar overlaps your header, try Bottom Page before touching CSS. Most overlap issues come from a sticky theme header.
