Preview and publish
Check your timer before it goes live, then publish, pause, or delete it.
Live preview
The Countdown Editor shows a live preview beside your settings. It updates as you type and re-renders whenever you change a design value, so you can check contrast, digit size, and spacing without leaving the app.
The preview reflects your Content and Design settings. It does not apply placement or geolocation targeting — those only take effect on the real storefront.
Check desktop and mobile
The preview has a device toggle. Mobile constrains the preview to 375px — a real phone width — so you can see exactly how the digits and labels fit.
Click Mobile in the preview header.
Check the digits don't wrap and the timer labels still fit under them.
If they don't, set the mobile sizes under Design → Typography.
Click Desktop to switch back.
Tip
Check mobile before every publish. A four-block countdown is the element most likely to overflow a narrow screen, and the mobile preview catches it in seconds.
Save
Click Save. You'll see Changes saved successfully. If something goes wrong you'll see Error saving changes instead.
Unsaved changes
If you try to close the editor with unsaved edits, the app asks whether to Discard changes or Keep editing. Choose Keep editing and save first if you want the changes.
Publish
Publish the timer from the editor, or from the status control in the dashboard list. The status changes to Published and you'll see Timer activated successfully.
Pause a timer
Switch the status back to Unpublished. You'll see Timer paused successfully.
The timer disappears from your storefront but all its settings are kept, so you can turn it back on any time.
Tip
Pausing is the right way to stop a seasonal campaign. Don't delete it — you'd lose the design and schedule and have to rebuild it next time.
Delete a timer
Find the timer in the dashboard list.
Click Delete in the Actions column.
Confirm in the Delete Countdown Timer dialog.
Deleting a timer cannot be undone.
Test it properly
Open your storefront on a page the timer targets.
Confirm the digits are actually ticking down, not frozen.
Check it on a phone as well as a desktop.
If you set an end action, wait for the timer to reach zero once and confirm it behaves as you expect.
