Hide days from timer
Drop the days unit and show only hours, minutes, and seconds.
Hide Days From Timer removes the days block from the display, leaving hours, minutes, and seconds. It's the right setting for any countdown shorter than a day.
Turn it on
Open the timer and go to the Content tab.
Click Show Advanced Settings.
Tick Hide Days From Timer.
Click Save.
Click Hide Advanced Settings to collapse the section again.
When to use it
| Countdown length | Recommendation |
|---|---|
| Under 24 hours | Hide days — a permanent 00 reads as broken |
| 1–7 days | Keep days |
| Longer than a week | Keep days |
A fixed-minute timer should almost always hide days. A 00 days block next to a 20-minute countdown just wastes space and looks like a bug.
Where it's available
Hide Days From Timer is under Show Advanced Settings on the Content tab for product page, top/bottom bar, and landing page timers. Cart page timers don't have it — their countdown is embedded inline in the title with the {timer} token.
Tip
Hiding days also makes the remaining units bigger and easier to read in a narrow bar, since there are three blocks competing for the width instead of four.
