Popup position and animation
Choose which corner the popup appears in and how it animates in.
The Position tab of the Sales Popup Editor holds the Position & Animation section.
Position
Choose which corner the popup appears in:
| Option |
|---|
| Bottom Left |
| Bottom Right |
| Top Left |
| Top Right |
The help text describes it as Where the popup appears on the screen.
Bottom Left is the conventional choice for social-proof notifications — it's out of the way of most theme navigation and it's where shoppers expect this kind of message.
Animation
Choose how the popup arrives:
| Animation | Feel |
|---|---|
| Slide | Slides in from the edge — subtle, the safe default |
| Fade | Fades into view — the quietest option |
| Bounce | Bounces on arrival — playful, attention-grabbing |
| Zoom | Scales up into place — high impact |
Margins
Set Top/Bottom Margin to move the popup away from the top or bottom edge.
Set Left/Right Margin to move it away from the side.
Increase the margins if the popup collides with a sticky bar, a chat widget, or a cookie banner.
Mobile position
Tick Enable Mobile Position Settings.
Set Mobile Position to Bottom or Top.
Choose a Mobile Animation Type.
Set the mobile margins.
On mobile there are no corners to choose between — the popup spans the width, so you only pick top or bottom.
Watch out for collisions
Bottom-corner space is crowded. Chat widgets, cookie banners, and sticky bottom bars all live there. Check your storefront with everything running before you settle on a corner.
Tip
Slide or Fade for anything running continuously; save Bounce and Zoom for a genuine one-off announcement. An animation that repeats all day becomes irritating fast.
