Gradient angles
| Turn | Direction |
|---|---|
0 | Bottom to top |
90 | Left to right |
180 | Top to bottom |
270 | Right to left |
On a wide bar, 90 usually looks best — the gradient has room to spread across the full width.
Upload a background image
In the Card section, find Background Image Upload.
Click Upload Image.
Choose your image file.
Click Save and check the preview.
Image size
The app recommends 512 × 512px images for best quality.
Legibility over a photo
Text and digits are hard to read over a busy image. If you use one, either pick a dark, low-detail photo with light text, or switch Timer Style to Block so each digit sits on a solid background. See Timer style.
Tip
Check contrast at both ends of a gradient. Text that reads well over the start color can vanish over the end color — keep both in the same tonal range.
