Bar not showing
Work through the checks that fix almost every missing announcement bar.
Work through these in order. The first two account for the large majority of cases.
1. Is the app embed active?
This is the most common cause.
Open the app Home page and check the Theme store app embed card.
If it shows Off, click App embed Settings.
Set the app embed from Disabled to Active and click Save.

2. Is the announcement published?
Open the Announcements table on the Home page.
Check the Publish toggle for that announcement is on, and the status reads Published.
3. Is it inside its schedule?
Open the announcement and go to the Content tab.
Check the Scheduling card.
Confirm the Starts time has already passed and the Ends time hasn't.
4. Does the placement include this page?
Go to the Placement tab.
Check Select pages to display the bar. If it's set to Home page only, the bar won't show on a product page.
Set it to Every page temporarily to confirm the bar works at all.
5. Does the device targeting match?
Check Device targeting on the Placement tab. If it's Desktop only, you won't see the bar on your phone.
6. Does the geolocation targeting match?
If Geolocation targeting is set to Specific countries and you're browsing from elsewhere, the bar is correctly hidden from you. Set it to Whole World to test.
7. Did you close it yourself?
If Show Close Icon is on and you dismissed the bar, your browser remembers that. Open your storefront in an incognito window to check.
8. Clear your cache
Your browser or a caching app may still be serving an older version of the page. Hard-refresh, or test in incognito.
9. Is it hidden behind something?
The bar may be rendering but sitting underneath your header. See Advanced settings (Z-Index).
10. Did you switch themes?
The app embed is per theme. If you published a new theme, enable the app embed again on it.
