Preview and publish
Check your bar before it goes live, then publish, unpublish, or delete it.
Live preview
The editor is split in two: your settings on the left, a live Preview panel on the right. It updates as you type and re-renders whenever you change a design setting, so you can check contrast and spacing without leaving the app.
The preview reflects your Content and Design settings. It does not apply placement, device, or geolocation targeting — those only take effect on the real storefront.
Check desktop and mobile
The preview header has a device toggle.
Click the desktop icon to preview at desktop width.
Click the mobile icon to preview at phone width.
Check your title doesn't wrap awkwardly and the button is still readable at mobile size.
Tip
Switch to mobile before you publish, every time. Most storefront traffic is mobile, and a title that fits comfortably on desktop is the single most common thing to break on a phone.
Publish
Click Save to store your changes.
Click Publish. The status badge changes from Not Published to Published.
You can also publish or unpublish straight from the dashboard using the Publish toggle in the announcements table.
Unpublish
Click Unpublish on the announcement page, or switch the Publish toggle off in the table. The bar disappears from your storefront but all its settings are kept, so you can turn it back on any time.
Tip
Unpublishing is the right way to pause a seasonal bar. Don't delete it — you'd lose the design and have to rebuild it next year.
Delete
Click Delete on the announcement page, or use Delete in the table's Action column, then confirm.
Deleting an announcement is permanent. Its analytics history goes with it.
Unsaved changes
As soon as you change anything, a save bar appears at the top of the page with Save and Discard actions. If you try to navigate away while it's showing, the app asks you to confirm before discarding your edits.
