Getting started

Publish your builder

What publishing generates, and the three ways to get the builder in front of customers.

Publish

There's no separate publish button — the editor header has a status dropdown next to the status badge.

New builders start out Published

A builder you've just created is already set to Published, so getting it live is really just a matter of saving it. It still won't appear anywhere until you place it.

Open your builder.

Check the status dropdown in the header. New builders are created as Published already — set it to Draft only if you want to hold it back.

Click Save in the save bar. The badge turns into a green Published.

What publishing generates

ThingWhere to find it
Unique IDBuilder Settings → Bundle Builder ID. Before the first publish it reads Not generated yet.
Embed CodeThe same card. It's a single div you can paste anywhere.
Online Store pageCreated automatically, unless you turned that option off.
Parent productA hidden product that represents the bundle in the cart, so checkout shows your Bundle Name.

Edit the parent product

Once that hidden product exists, an Edit Parent Product button appears in the editor header. It opens the product in your Shopify admin.

You rarely need it — the app keeps the product in step with your Bundle Name and Bundle Image. Reach for it when you need something only the product page can set, such as its tax settings or the sales channels it's published to.

Don't delete it

Deleting the parent product breaks the bundle's name at checkout — the cart falls back to showing one of the component products instead. If it's already gone, you'll see a This bundle's parent product was deleted banner; Save the builder again and the app recreates it.

Get it in front of customers

Publishing makes the builder available — it doesn't place it. Pick one of these:

Take it down later

Set the status dropdown back to Draft and save, or use Change Status from the Bundle Builders list. Every setting is kept.

If the app created a page for you, that page stays in your Online Store. Delete it there if you no longer want it.

Publish before you copy anything

The Unique ID and embed code don't exist until the first publish. Copy them after publishing, not before.
