Manage your builders
Publish, unpublish, duplicate, copy the ID of, and delete builders from the Bundle Builders list.
Everything you do to a builder as a whole — switching it on or off, copying it, removing it — happens on the Bundle Builders list. Open it from Bundle Builder in the app's sidebar. Create Bundle Builder at the top right starts a new one.
Publish or unpublish
Use the Status switch on the builder's row. It reads Published when it's on and Draft when it's off, and it takes effect straight away — there's nothing to save. You'll see a Bundle Builder published or Bundle Builder unpublished message, and the switch is disabled while it saves.
A draft builder disappears from your storefront; all its settings are kept. The editor's page header has the same control: Publish while the builder is a draft, Unpublish once it's live.
Going live for the first time?
For a new builder or a duplicate, publish from the editor instead, so the hidden parent product gets created. See Publish your builder.
The ⋯ menu
Click the ⋯ button (More actions) at the end of a row:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Edit Bundle Builder | Opens the builder. Clicking its name does the same. |
| Duplicate Bundle Builder | Makes a copy — see below. |
| Copy Unique ID | Copies the builder's Unique ID and shows Unique ID copied to clipboard. It only appears once the builder has been published at least once. |
| Delete Bundle Builder | Deletes the builder after you confirm — see below. |
Duplicate a builder
Duplicate Bundle Builder copies the builder straight away, with no confirmation, and shows Bundle Builder duplicated. The copy:
- is a Draft, named after the original with (copy) added;
- keeps the original's settings — boxes, categories, products, design;
- has no Unique ID, embed code or parent product yet. It gets its own when you publish it.
To make the copy live, open it and click Publish in the page header.
Delete a builder
Choose Delete Bundle Builder on the list, or Delete in the editor's page header. A Delete Bundle Builder window shows the builder's name and asks Are you sure you want to delete this bundle builder? This action cannot be undone. Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to back out.
Deleting a builder:
- takes it off your storefront;
- also deletes its hidden parent product. Past orders keep their own copy of the bundle line's name and price, but the product link on those orders stops working;
- leaves your Online Store pages alone. A page that held the builder stays, with nothing in the builder's spot — delete the page yourself if you don't need it.
If you only want to take a builder down for a while, unpublish it instead.
