Subscribe & Save
Add a checkbox above Add to Cart so shoppers can subscribe to the whole bundle.
Subscribe & Save puts a checkbox card above the Add to Cart button in the sidebar. When a shopper ticks it, every product in the bundle goes into the cart on the delivery plan you chose — and you can let them pick the delivery frequency too. Shoppers who leave it unticked buy one time, as usual.
Oxify doesn't create subscription plans. They come from the subscription app you already use, so set them up there first.
Before you start
- A delivery plan that covers every product. Every product in the builder, and every variant a shopper can pick, must be on the plan. If even one isn't, the checkbox stays hidden on your storefront.
- Individual product lines. Shopify can't merge cart lines that carry a subscription plan, so this only works when the bundle's products are shown as separate lines. Go to Settings → General Settings → Advanced settings and tick Show products as individual lines in the cart. The Subscriptions card also has a Switch to individual product lines button that does the same.
Turn it on
Open your builder and go to the Design tab.
Click Subscriptions to expand it, and switch its toggle on. It's off by default.
Choose a Delivery plan. The list shows your store's subscription plans as plan name — plan group. If it says No subscription plans found on this store, create one in your subscription app first.
Set any of the options below, then click Save.
Options
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Delivery plan | The plan every product is added on. |
| Let shoppers choose the delivery frequency | Adds a dropdown to the checkbox card listing every plan that all the products share — for example every 3 weeks or every 4 weeks. Your plan above is pre-selected. |
| Checkbox label | The card's heading. Defaults to Subscribe & Save. |
| Description (optional) | A line of text under the label, such as Delivered every month. Cancel anytime. |
| Tick the checkbox by default | Starts the shopper subscribed. Off by default. |
The Appearance section styles the card:
| Part | What you control |
|---|---|
| Label | Font size (8–40px, default 16), Font size (mobile) (default 14), Font weight (default Bold) and Text color. |
| Description | The same four settings, defaulting to 13px, 12px on mobile, and Regular. |
| Card | Background color, Background color (ticked), Border color, Checkbox color, Checkmark color, Border width (0–8px, default 2) and Corner radius (0–32px, default 8). |
What shoppers see
- The checkbox card sits directly above the add-to-cart button in all three sidebar templates.
- Once it's ticked, the sidebar total shows the subscription price. Shopify applies the plan's own discount to each item first, and your box discount is then worked out on those prices.
- With frequency choice on, the card shows a dropdown, and the plan the shopper picks is the one that goes into the cart.
If the checkbox doesn't show
Work down the list:
- The toggle is off, or no Delivery plan is chosen. The card warns you when a plan is missing.
- The bundle uses merged cart lines. The card shows a warning with the Switch to individual product lines button.
- The plan was deleted in your subscription app, or is no longer a subscription plan. The card says so and lists it as Unavailable plan — choose another.
- A product or variant isn't on the plan. The card can't warn you about this one. Add everything the builder offers to the plan in your subscription app, then reload your storefront page.
The preview shows it earlier than your store does
The preview in the app can't check your products against the plan, so it shows the checkbox as soon as the card is on, a plan is chosen and the bundle uses individual lines. Only the live page confirms that every product is covered — test there.
