Discount types

Percentage, amount off, fixed price, or no discount — which one to use on each tier.

Every tier has a Discount Type dropdown. Pick one, then enter the number in the field that appears below it.

The four types

Dropdown optionWhat it doesOn a $10 product, quantity 3
No DiscountFull price. Use it for your base tier.$30.00
Discounted % (e.g. 25% off)Takes a percentage off each item.Enter 20 → $24.00
Amount Off (e.g. $10 off)Takes a fixed amount off each item.Enter 2 → $24.00
Fixed Price (e.g. $29)Sets the price of the whole tier.Enter 24 → $24.00

Percentage and Amount are per item — Fixed Price is not

Amount Off of $2 on a 3-pack takes off $6 in total, because it applies to each item. Fixed Price works the other way: $24 is the price of the 3-pack, not of one unit.

Set a discount

Open your bundle and go to the Offers tab.

On the tier you want, open Discount Type.

Choose the option. A value field appears.

Enter the number. The field is labelled Discount per item for percentage and amount, and Fixed Price for a fixed price.

Click Save.

The field shows a % suffix or your currency prefix, so you can always tell which unit you're typing in.

Which to pick

  • Discounted % — the default choice. It scales across a catalogue of mixed prices, so one bundle can cover every product.
  • Amount Off — good when you want a round, concrete saving per unit.
  • Fixed Price — good for clean price points like 3 for $24. Only use it when the offer targets products of a similar price, since the price is absolute rather than relative.
  • No Discount — your entry tier, or a tier whose value comes from a free gift instead.

Make the saving obvious

Put the number in the tier text with a variable instead of typing it by hand:

  • Subtitle: Save {{saved_percentage}}
  • Label: {{new_price_per_item}} per item

Change the discount later and the text updates itself. See Text variables.

Tidy up awkward prices

A 15% discount on $23.00 gives $19.55. Turn on Price rounding in Advanced Settings to land on $19.99 instead. See Pricing settings.
