Variant settings

Let customers mix variants inside one tier, and stop showing two variant pickers.

These options live on the Bundle Settings tab, inside Advanced Settings under Variants. All are off by default.

The options

SettingWhat it does
Let customers choose different variants for each itemEvery item in a multi-quantity tier gets its own variant picker.
Show variant selection for single quantity deal barAlso shows a picker on tiers with quantity 1. Appears only when the setting above is on.
Hide theme variant pickerHides your theme's built-in picker while the bundle is displayed.

Let customers mix variants

Off by default: every item in a tier shares the one variant the customer chose.

Turn it on and a 3-pack shows three pickers, so a customer can take one black, one navy, one grey.

Open your bundle and stay on the Bundle Settings tab.

Open Advanced Settings and find the Variants section.

Tick Let customers choose different variants for each item.

Click Save and check a product page.

Worth turning on for apparel, colors, and flavours. Leave it off for a product where one variant per order is the norm — extra pickers only slow the customer down.

Avoid two variant pickers

With per-item pickers on, your product page can end up showing both the bundle's pickers and your theme's own. Tick Hide theme variant picker to leave only the bundle's.

Check the page after turning this on

Themes place their variant picker in different spots, and a few tie add-to-cart behaviour to it. Add a product to the cart and confirm the right variant lands there before you publish.

Discounts don't change per variant

A tier's discount applies to the whole tier, whichever variants the customer picks.
