Progressive gifts
Show a set of free gifts or free shipping that unlock as customers choose bigger offers.
Progressive gifts are rewards that sit under your tiers and unlock as the customer picks a higher one. A gift can be a free product or free shipping. Unlike a free gift, which belongs to a single tier, progressive gifts are shown together as a set — so customers can see what the next tier unlocks.
Turn it on
Open your bundle and go to the Offers tab. If you started from the Progressive Gifts template, the card is already switched on.
Find the Progressive Gifts card, switch it on, and click its title to expand it.
Under Design template, pick Card Grid (default), Milestone Ladder or Inline Row.
Write the Title and Subtitle of the section. A new bundle starts with 🎁 Free gifts with your order and Unlock selecting a higher bundle.
Choose how locked gifts look:
- Hide gifts until it's unlocked — locked gifts don't show at all. Off by default.
- Show labels for locked gifts — locked gifts keep their label. On by default.
Add your gifts (below), then click Save.
Add a gift
Click Add Gift at the bottom of the card. Each gift gets a Gift #1, Gift #2… card, with a Remove button in its header.
Choose the type: Free gift or Free Shipping.
For a Free gift, click Select Product and choose the product. Click Edit Image to upload your own picture, or the delete icon to pick a different product.
For Free Shipping there's no product. A default shipping image is used; click Edit Image to upload your own.
Choose Unlock at — the offer that unlocks the gift, listed as Deal 1, Deal 2 and so on with the tier's title. The gift unlocks when the customer selects that offer or any later one.
Fill in the texts:
- Label — the badge on the gift. A new gift starts with
FREE. - Label crossed out — a struck-through value beside it. Starts with
{{original_price}}. - Title — the gift's name. Starts with
{{product}}. - Locked title — what a locked gift is called. Starts with
Locked.
Click Save.
On a gift that gives a product, the four text fields have the variables icon — see Text variables. Free Shipping gifts show your text exactly as typed.
Gifts unlock by position, not quantity
Unlock at counts offers by their order in the list. Keep your tiers in order from smallest to largest, or a gift will unlock at the wrong one.
Only the first variant is added
You pick the product, not a variant, and the product's first variant is the one added to the cart. Use a product with a single variant, or make sure the variant you want is the first one.
What customers see
Locked gifts appear in a locked style with your Locked title (or the normal Title if you leave it empty), and the struck-through label never shows on a locked gift. When the customer selects an offer that reaches a gift's unlock point, the gift unlocks and the label appears.
The three templates lay the same gifts out differently:

What happens at checkout
- A free product is added to the cart with the offer, one unit, and costs nothing while the offer's main product stays in the cart. If the gift can't be added — out of stock, or not on your Online Store — the rest of the bundle still goes through.
- Free shipping doesn't add anything to the cart. Delivery is free at checkout when the cart reaches the offer that unlocks it.
