Edit section settings
Change text, images, colors, and spacing without touching code.
Open the settings
In the theme editor, click the section in the left sidebar — or click it directly in the preview.
Its settings appear in the right sidebar.
What you can change
The exact options depend on the section, but most include:
- Text — headings, body copy, and button labels.
- Images — upload your own or pick from your Shopify files.
- Colors — backgrounds, text, and buttons.
- Spacing — padding above and below the section.
- Links — where buttons send shoppers.
Save your changes
Watch the live preview update as you edit.
Click Save in the top right.
If you are editing your published theme, the change is live right away.
Try changes safely
Duplicate your theme in Online Store → Themes → Actions → Duplicate, edit the copy, and publish it once you are happy.
